We all had a fantastic time learning to be Archers and I know it was because of your excellent teaching. You explained everything so clearly making each element so easy to understand and put into practice and the right balance between the necessary authority to keep us safe and encouragement to help us relax as we developed our new skills. All in all thank you for a great afternoon it was everything I had hoped for AND more.

A really memorable way to spend a couple of hours with friends in the beautiful Somerset countryside. Matthew and Stewart were excellent guides who patiently introduced our group of 10 total (and slightly hungover) beginners to the finer points of clay shooting. The morning’s class was fun, well organised, and excellent value for money. Matthew even booked a table for us at Raleghs Cross Inn for lunch afterwards. Would highly recommend and will certainly think of doing it again!

Fantastic day’s shooting with Matthew and his team for a stag weekend. Great experience and first class instructing made sure everyone was on target! Matthew also helped arrange a cider tasting at a nearby farm following the shooting which was also great fun. Highly recommend!

I am so pleased that I booked Matthew and Stuart for our corporate hire. They were an absolute joy to have and their efforts were greatly appreciated by the whole team. Stuart very kindly showed me the ropes throughout, and his help and patience truly paid off as I was getting closer and closer to actually hitting the target! Absolutely amazing! Matthew was incredibly helpful in assisting in organising a fantastic weekend. I literally can’t thank him enough. After we were let down last minute with some accommodation, Matthew helped to sort this for us, as well as recommend local activities, good local pubs and taxi firms.

Everyone who took part commented on their friendly yet professional approach, and everyone stayed safe whilst having bags of fun. It really added to our wedding memories. During the planning for the event we were impressed by how flexible Matthew and his team could be, particularly in relation to the weather which fortunately was not an issue on the day itself. Absolutely fantastic in every respect.

From the beginning of me enquiring re: activities Birds Hill had to offer to the end of our day of activities, Matthew has been so helpful, response time excellent, local knowledge, recommendations of restaurants and best beaches etc and above all very professional and a great instructor in all areas. We were a large group all family 11 adults & 3 children staying in Roadwater Somerset we had booked for clay shooting for 7 adults & 1 teenager and archery for 3 adults, 1 teenager & 2 children all had a great time and enjoyed the activities provided by Matthew.
